Our Philosophy

We invest whereothers aren't looking.

Developed markets are crowded — picked over by institutions and retail flows.

We focus on small-cap equities in developing markets: lower foreign-retail participation, lighter institutional presence, liquidity-driven mispricing.

Inefficiency is opportunity — if you respect the risk.

EHF treats risk management as a core decision variable, not a constraint applied after the fact. Every position is evaluated on downside risk, liquidity, and portfolio interaction before inclusion. Hedging tools are used selectively to protect capital and maintain resilience across regimes.

Our Philosophy

Why the overlooked markets?

EHF runs a long-only, all-weather portfolio with a core focus on small-cap equities in developing markets. These are markets often characterised by the absence of foreign retail investors and a lower presence of large institutions due to liquidity constraints.

Where coverage is thin, prices drift from fundamentals. That inefficiency is the opportunity — but only for those who can navigate the liquidity and size constraints that keep larger players out. We pair detailed fundamental analysis with a macro-regime view to find and hold those positions responsibly.

Lower foreign-retail participation

Fewer momentum-chasing flows means prices are set by a narrower, less efficient pool of participants.

Lighter institutional presence

Liquidity constraints keep large funds out, leaving fundamentally sound names under-researched.

Liquidity-driven mispricing

Thin trading creates dislocations that revert — capturable with patience and disciplined sizing.

All-weather, long-only stance

A multi-asset core designed to stay resilient across regimes rather than bet on a single outcome.

Inefficiency is opportunity — but only for those who respect the risk.

Where We Look

The markets others overlook.

EHF concentrates on small-cap equities in developing and frontier markets — places under-covered by foreign retail flows and lightly held by large institutions, where liquidity constraints create mispricing. Hover a market to find it on the map.

Asia — Core

Under-covered developing markets with shallow foreign-retail flows and strong domestic fundamentals.

MENA / GCC

Liquidity- and flow-driven markets where institutional coverage remains uneven.

Latin America

Commodity-linked, reform-sensitive markets under-owned by global investors.

Africa & Frontier

Selective frontier exposure where fundamentals and liquidity align.
